Spring has come

A recently-emerged "Snow-Drop" in New Haven - a sure sign that spring is almost here...

André & Rita!!

More visits, first from Montreal, and then from Chicago & Lisbon, our little house was like the UN for a day.

Future grandparents came to visit

In a repeat of last year's trip, we went to Hammonasset for a walk on the beach, and then to New Haven.

Big News!!

Due date: September 3rd, 2006! :)

Roxi has been feeling great, but a little tired. Some skirts only fit with safety pins, and some pants not at all, unless the top button is discretely undone. Other than that, it's "business as usual", and the new reality has not yet sunk in fully.

We heard the heartbeat about 2 weeks ago, which was going at ~160 beats / minute! It was very exciting. We wish we had a recording for you...: pft-pft-pft-pft-pft-pft-pft.... :)

2006 Pictures of the Year International

For those who might be interested in such things, here are some pictures who were judged to be some of the best of the last year:

The 1st place for Magazine photography has a small series on Romania...: http://www.poyi.org/63/MPOY/story04_01.php.
None of it looks like what we saw there last year, but then we only saw a small part.

This one was really cool: http://www.poyi.org/63/02/second_01.php

Houses in Coventry

On a walk around our place, we went towards "downtown" Coventry, and took a few pictures of some of the older houses there.

Someone had made a "snowsnake"!

Pink? Why not?

Probably the nicest one on our walk - and also the best maintained.

More pink.

Many had some funky windows, and this one has a kind of "bell tower"...

Willimantic

A little walk in Willimantic on Saturday:

St-Mary's church (beside the fancy new coop).

Frog bridge.
