Grandparents are finally back

And they found that Julia is cute when her diaper is being changed....

... she's cute with avó Gabi....

... and she's cute (but a little confused) with Avô Carlos.

Smiles

Julia is becoming very playful, and she smiles when we make faces at her, which is very often. Here are two from this morning.

Farmer's Market

We went to Coventry's Farmer's Market with Raluca, Sena and Aiyana. They were having a "Harvest Festival" - some animals (goats, a llama, chickens, rabbits, and lots of dogs), some free food, and a musician. (Gabi: the rabbits were for petting, not for eating!) The weather was perfect fall weather: cool, and very sunny.

Julia slept most of the time, other than feeding a little. The other girls ran around and danced to old Beatles tunes.

Home at last and a little rest.

This is not Julia...

Warning to all grandparents, family, friends, etc: these pictures are not of Julia.
(They were taken in the back yard, today)

We apologize for the inconvenience - we'll be sure to post more of Julia soon.

Natchaug

It was a beautiful Saturday here, near the peak of colour for the fall foliage. We did a little walking at Natchaug State Forest, just a little East of here.

Ok, this one was before leaving home:

A Day Off Work

Wednesday Ricardo took a (well-deserved) day off at work.
This gave us all a chance to be very productive, do laundry, grocery shopping, etc. We even went for a little hike in Mansfield.

Usual pic of Mansfield hollow:

Weekend Visitors

Busy weekend again.
Tavi & Tanta came down from Montreal, and they brough Magda & Isabel (Roxi's cousin and her youngest daughter, recently on a visit to Montreal).

Amalia's (third) birthday party on Saturday (no camera!) was great.
Aiyana's (first) party was postponed due to really crappy weather on Sunday. She didn't seem too bothered.
