Thanks

Thanks to Joanna, Luc and Julietta for inviting us to a very pleasant evening of traditional Thanksgiving: turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and very good company.

Here are the girls waiting for the feast.

Julia was not convinced...

Julietta asked for seconds.

Thanks again. :)

Cape Cod Last Day

Again, "our" beach, early in the morning.

On a hike at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

On the way back, another quick stop at the Fish Pier, hoping for many boats unloading fish, but only a few birds, and a couple of seals chilling.

The next morning, Julia was finding seashells, before getting on the road back home.

The Andy-Andy Song

Sorry about the poor video quality, but this is a sample of what we've been hearing since spending a few days with Andy and Marcia... Sometimes it's when Julia sees Andy on a picture from the trip, but often times she just starts saying it for no apparent reason.

Cape Cod Day 3 - West Coast

Early morning, the beach near our cottage:

Walking and looking for yellow shells, on the West Coast of the Great Island.

Followed by a delicious apple pie, courtesy of Marcia.

Julia and Andy, around the time that Julia first sang the "Andy-Andy" song.

Cape Cod Day 2 - East Coast

On the second day, we visited parts of the East coast

We were lucky: it was a beautiful day. Nice for a walk, a little too cold for someone just sitting in an infant carrier. The following pictures are from a walk between Coast Guard beach and Nauset Light beach.

Portugal, seen from a distance.

Nauset Light.

View from the Salt Pond visitor's center. Very nice staff, and a seashell display that said "Please Touch".

Cape Cod Day 1 - Chatham

We spent a few very pleasant days in Cape Cod: very relaxing.

Julia on the beach.

The cabin we rented is the first on the left.

View from the upper deck of the "Fish Pier" near Chatham.

Apparently seals hang around there (along with tons of seagulls) hoping for fish to fall off the fishing boats when they unload. Here's one just waiting for a boat to come in:

Getting Some Air

Another great day for being outside... cold but sunny.

Julia and Roxy playing in the shadows.

Woo hoo!!!

Staying up late...

Since she refuses to go to bed, we might as well take another couple of pictures...

... at least she's in a good mood. :)

Julia looking cozy

Julia's been looking cozy lately with cute little sweaters made by Bunica.
