More pictures of Julia and Stella

What can I say... Julia loves holding her little sister, and I love taking pictures of the two of them together...

Julia's school vacation week

Julia has been on vacation this week, and luckily, we're had beautiful sunny warm weather.

I think Stella's expression is so funny in this picture... Julia's so enthusiastic, but Stella's not so sure.

It's too bad Julia's face is a little blurry in this picture:

Julia Recovery and Unky Dylan Stuck in Scotland

This was Julia yesterday, when she was awake. The rest of the time was spent sleeping in various places.

Today, she is doing much better.
This is her picture of Unky Dylan stuck in Scotland. The blue smudge is Iceland. The orange thing is a volcano, with its yellow smoke. Unky Dylan is surrounded by yellow something or other. I have no idea what "PRO" is for. Dylan, sit tight and have another pint.

A fully recovered Julia with another drawing of Dylan.

Julia and Stella

(too bad it's a little out of focus...)

Crocodile Bread and Orange Candle Cake

One of Julia's hobbies these days: helping me make bread.

This time she decided to make 'crocodile' bread. Here she is putting in the cinnamon and cranberries.

She ate a few cranberries as she worked...

Here is her creation (and mine) this morning.

Something else she likes to do: 'orange candle cake', for Roxi. It started on Roxi's birthday, and now every once in a while, she starts whispering that we should make a surprise orange candle cake. We made one yesterday, and she sang happy birthday...

And we're up - or are we?

Julia woke up at 6:55 this morning, which is earlier than usual. We heard her open the door to her room, but then we didn't hear anything else, and she didn't come to our room. When we went to check up on her a little while later, we found her asleep in the living room:
