Downtown

We went back to downtown Hartford - which is something we don't do enough. Hartford gets a bad rap, for some reason. Most people don't go there on the weekends, which is a shame as stores and many restaurants end up being closed. Coming from Montreal (and Lisbon!), this is the opposite of what a city should do.

But when we do go, we usually have a good time. This time we went to Bushnell Park, to see the famous carousel. We first had a drink at a local place, and Julia then had a great time riding the horses. For $1 per ride, it was well worth it. And, since nobody goes there, parking was easy, and there was no line-up... :)
