Berkshires (Fall 2010) Day 4 & Panoramics

We shamelessly picked apples from one of the dozens of apple trees all over the campground.

The view across the pond.

And... two panoramas from the previous days. This one is from Mount Greylock.

and this one is from the Bugsby trail, looking towards Greylock.

Day 3 was spent around Savoy Mountain.

The "summit" of the Bugsby trail. Nice views.

Another sunset at our cabin.

Dinner cooked on the wood stove.

Berkshires (Fall 2010) Day 2

On day 2 we went to Mount Greylock.

This was the view from our cabin in the morning.

Our little cabin at the top of the hill.

Views from Mount Greylock, looking East.

We followed the Appalachian Trail for a little distance, heading South.

Back at the cabin, sunset.

We walked around the campground, looking at the night sky. The stars were amazing.

Berkshires (Fall 2010) Day 1

We went back to the Berkshires for a few days and the weather cooperated fully. It was gorgeous, a little cool, but very sunny - perfect for hiking.

Farmers' Market

We typically go to the Coventry Farmers Market every Sunday morning. It's a great place to buy fruits and veggies, and a nice place for just hanging out and having a yummy snack.

Stella wearing a "Piglet" outfit:

Julia always gets a muffin (it's in the brown bag) from the "muffin-man" and she shares it with her papa.

Ready to bike back home:

Julia napping in our living-room. BTW, I remember my mom used to nap in these armchairs many many years ago when I was still living with my parents; they are very comfy chairs.
