Peabody

Today we went to New Haven to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History. It's a photo competition, with 94 of the best photos displayed (there are several categories, and they showed the winners, runners-up, honorable mentions, etc). Some of the images were stunning. Others were a little more depressing, but no less spectacular.

Julia was excited and squealed a lot.

It was a beautiful day, so we didn't spend too much time indoors at the museum. We walked around New Haven, and ate lunch in one of the many Yale University courtyards.

And once again, when we got back home, our new friend was hanging around our vegetable garden. This time he pretended he was eating grass. To be fair, we haven't seen the little guy actually eat anything from our garden, but it seems odd that he spends so much time near it...
