We got about a foot of fresh snow Thursday. The kids had a great time playing outside Friday, sliding in the fresh snow and making snow angels. I asked Julia if she likes snow and she said "Yep!". Sena kept saying "This is so exciting!". She asked me to make a snow fort, but I'm afraid my skills are a bit lacking in that area.
It turns out our back yard is excellent for sliding, since it's sloped. The only thing is someone needs to stay at the bottom of the hill and stop the sled from going into the thorny bushes. One time the sled had so much momentum it knocked me over on my butt when I tried to stop it (yes, I landed right in the middle of the thorny bushes, ouch!). It was great fun. By the end, Julia closed her eyes and fell asleep sitting on the sled.
By the way, in the picture of the 3 girls on the couch, both Sena and Aiyana are "nursing" their babies. Right after I took that picture, Sena asked me to please refrain from taking any more pictures while she's nursing, because it's too distracting for her baby...
