Silly Patootie
While I was trying to get Julia to have a nap this afternoon she insisted that she wasn't tired, and refused to come to the bedroom with me. So I went to lie down on her bed while waiting for her. She stayed in the living room by herself, just reading her books, perfectly happy to be on her own. After a few minutes things got unusually quiet, so I thought I'd better check on her... silly patootie put herself to sleep, only minutes after she insisted that she's not tired... So even though my original plan (to have her follow me into the bedroom) failed, it all worked out in the end, and she's napping right now.
