Julia's stories

Julia's been coming up with these stories at school, and her teachers wrote them down so she could bring them home. She read this story at the "Authors' Tea" event which was held at her school a few weeks ago:
"The people were walking on the beach one day. Then the seagulls swooped down and grabbed some of their food. It is a cloudy day. The seagulls weren't very nice. The end."
And here's the picture she drew with it:

Today, she brought home two more stories:
" The Zebra was walking on the beach. It was too hot for him. And he went somewhere else. The end."

"Animals were kind of chilly somewhere. So they went to a warm, warm place. It was the beach. And the beach was really hot. They stayed there for a while. Until they heard a loud noise. Then the turkey came. It saved them. And then the turkey picked them up. And he brought them somewhere else. And that's the end."

I see a common theme: the beach.

I'm glad to see that the turkey saved the animals. You know, turkeys are very virtuous - I have a lot of respect for turkeys.

1. In this house, turkeys are held in the highest esteem

2. Julia obviously needs to go to a beach in southern Portugal
